Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tekla Detailer to join our team located in Auckland.
This is a full time position guarantee as least 30 hours per week.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the Steel Detailing Industry.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software
Prepare, generate, edit and revise fabrication drawings and material lists from the models
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs
Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures
Review and analyze project specifications, costs and requirements to ensure compliance
Participate in design and construction meetings as needed
Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends
Requirements:
Proficiency in Tekla Structures software
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Experience in creating detailed fabrication drawings for steel structures
Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects
Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve design issues
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
