Job Description
We are seeking experienced Construction Supervisors to join our team. The role involves supervising day-to-day construction activities on-site, supporting project delivery, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards .
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
- Assist in planning and organising work schedules for site workers
- Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Monitor progress of works to ensure timely project delivery
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to trades staff when required
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements
- Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors on site
- Report site progress and issues to the project manager or senior management
- Assist in resolving on-site construction issues as they arise
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, or
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in any field
- Experience working in a supervisory or leading hand role on construction sites
- Strong understanding of building methods, materials, and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment and lead by example
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 45 hours per week depending on project and site requirements.
