Job Description

We are seeking experienced Construction Supervisors to join our team. The role involves supervising day-to-day construction activities on-site, supporting project delivery, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
  • Assist in planning and organising work schedules for site workers
  • Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Monitor progress of works to ensure timely project delivery
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to trades staff when required
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are met
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors on site
  • Report site progress and issues to the project manager or senior management
  • Assist in resolving on-site construction issues as they arise

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, or
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in any field
  • Experience working in a supervisory or leading hand role on construction sites
  • Strong understanding of building methods, materials, and construction processes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment and lead by example
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 45 hours per week depending on project and site requirements.
