Join our Fundraising Team as a Donor Relationships Coordinator!
Bring your administrative and communications skill to our fundraising team, where you'll support the team by handling inbound and outbound calls, emails and post from our supporters. Your excellent writing and interpersonal skills will shine, and you'll be a pro at meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks. You'll engage with MHF donors, creating positive experiences and ensuring that they feel valued, informed and appreciated for their contributions. Your initiative, keen eye for detail, collaborative spirit, and ability to work well within a team will be highly valued in this role.
Most importantly, you'll be sharing with people how they're helping improve the positive mental health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders. We're looking for someone eager to expand their skills in the fundraising space for this junior role.
What you will do:
- Provide excellent donor care, responding to enquiries via phone, email and post and ensuring all interactions are positive and timely.
- Process donations and acknowledgements, ensuring supporters are thanked and receive relevant information promptly.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to draft messages to supporters in a way that reflects our organisational values.
- Support fundraising campaigns and activities, including stewardship of peer-to-peer fundraisers, regular givers and corporate prospects.
- Support other members of the team with reporting, evaluations and data.
- Maintain accurate donor data in the CRM, ensuring high-quality data entry, updates and reporting.

Provide general admin support to the fundraising team.
You will have:

Experienced in customer service or admin support, comfortable and confident on the phones, and excellent communication skill
- Good eye for detail and accuracy while managing donor information

Consider yourself adaptable, organised, collaborative and able to use your initiative
- Interest in working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and a willingness to grow your knowledge of Te Ao and Te Reo Maori.
- Experience or eagerness to expand skills in the fundraising space.
- Experience with CRM systems or a customer database.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support a team

The salary band for this role is $60,000 - $68,000 and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.
