About the Role (Your Why)
Our Service Delivery team is the part of the business where you can influence internally within our delivery teams and work closely with the customer to meet their business requirements. You can be proactive, innovative, and look for ways to improve people's lives through technology.
As a Service Delivery Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring that all contracted services are delivered to clients in accordance with contracts. You will be the single point of contact for customers regarding the provision of contracted services and align customer requirements and expectations with Datacom's service levels.
This is a dedicated, fulltime role supporting one of our Tier1 customers, so we're looking for a strong, experienced individual who can hit the ground running and maintain the highest standard of service delivery. You will support customers endtoend and work alongside our Service Delivery Managers to support Datacom's wider customer base.
This role is Aucklandbased only and cannot be worked remotely fulltime due to client requirements. However, it follows a hybrid working model. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we're also mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance - you and your team can figure out what works best!
What You'll Do

- Contract and commercial management
- Service management and operational delivery
- Virtual team management
- Financial management
- Admin services
- Customer relationship management and customer satisfaction
- Reporting
- Continual service improvement and innovation
- Project management and coordination
We are a pretty agile company and are keen to respond to changing customer, technology, and internal stakeholder requirements - meaning our roles can evolve to meet those needs.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a seasoned professional with solid IT experience, preferably from within an IT-managed services environment. Given the Tier1 nature of this customer and the dedicated fulltime commitment required, we need someone who brings both depth of experience and the confidence to manage a highprofile customer relationship independently.
You'll be passionate about customer experience, highly organised, and have a strong understanding of service delivery and SLA conformance. You'll also have:
- A good grasp of service management methodologies, including ITIL
- A sound understanding of technical concepts and frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer relationshipbuilding and management skills
- Demonstrated project management experience essential for coordinating and driving projects on behalf of the customer alongside daytoday service delivery responsibilities
