KingsWay School Itinerant Music Teacher (Guitar) - Contractor

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a contractor to join our growing extra-curricular music programme from Term 3, 2026 to teach Guitar. Your hours are based on student-demand.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tumanako.

The successful applicant will:

• Be able to teach Year 3 through to Year 13 students
  
• Have a warm and encouraging manner with students
• Be a professional and collaborative team member

An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School. You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students' faith, and will protect and enhance our Christian character.
