Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hair or Beauty Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of our salon and ensure the delivery of high-quality beauty and customer services.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the hair and beauty salon to ensure smooth and efficient business performance
Determining service offerings, pricing strategies, stock levels, and customer service standards
Coordinating purchasing of salon products, beauty supplies, and equipment
Promoting and advertising salon services through marketing activities and customer engagement initiatives
Managing customer bookings, enquiries, complaints, and overall client satisfaction
Supervising salon staff, including rostering, performance monitoring, training, and workplace support
Assisting in recruitment and onboarding of new staff members
Monitoring stock control and maintaining records of inventory, sales, and financial transactions
Undertaking budgeting and assisting with financial planning and cost control for the salon
Ensuring the salon complies with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant employment regulations
Maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and professional standards throughout the salon
Supporting business growth and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer retention
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience OR level 5 qualification or higher
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage staff and daily salon operations effectively
- Previous experience in a hair, nail, or beauty salon environment is preferred
REMUNERATION
- Permanent, full-time position
- Hourly rate: $30 – $35 (depending on experience)
- Minimum 30 hours per week
