Laboratory Assistant

Nestled in the heart of Marlborough's Waihopai Valley, Marisco Vineyards is home to some of New Zealand's most beloved wine brands - The Ned, Leefield Station, The Kings Series, and Craft Series. We're a forward-thinking wine company, passionate about sharing Marlborough's unique wine story with the world.

With vineyards covering more than 1,000 hectares and two modern wineries in the Waihopai Valley, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team, supporting our Laboratory Manager. This is a full-time permanent position.

Key responsibilities will include:

Working in accordance with health and safety requirements and quality systems

Day-to-day laboratory analysis

Tank and barrel sampling

Data entry using Vintrace

Setting up and monitoring trials

The successful candidate will display strong attention to detail, the ability to recognise results outside tolerance, and high standards for accuracy and repeatability. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with at least two years' relevant experience in a similar role.

You'll be joining a capable, supportive team that takes pride in accuracy, reliability, and getting the job done well.

You must be legally permitted to work in New Zealand.
