NZ Commercial Distributors Limited (NZCD) is a major player in the automotive sector, recently taking over as the national distributor for Mercedes-Benz Vans in New Zealand to complement its existing FUSO national distributorship. NZCD manages vehicle distribution, parts supply, and technical support, leveraging the existing dealer network to provide nationwide service and aftersales support.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Warranty & Aftersales Analyst to join our Aftersales team. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate financial and operational reporting across Service, Warranty, and technical functions, enabling informed decision-making and performance visibility throughout the business.
In addition to reporting and analysis responsibilities, the role supports the development and maintenance of technical communications and documentation, ensuring high-quality and consistent information is delivered across the dealer network. The successful candidate will also provide operational and administrative support to the Service, Warranty and Technical teams as required.
What you will be doing
Deliver financial and operational reporting, dashboards, & KPI tracking
Analyse service, warranty and technical data to identity trends, risks and opportunities
Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions
Prepare and maintain dealer communications, technical bulletins, recalls and campaign documentation
Support the Service, Warranty and Technical teams with administrative and operational activities as required
What you will bring
2-5 years' experience in a similar analytical, warranty, aftersales, or operational support role.
Strong data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving capability.
Sound understanding of aftersales and warranty processes.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
A solution-focused mindset and ability to work independently.
Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Desirable
Automotive, transport, business administration, or related qualification.
Experience within the automotive, heavy vehicle, transport, or dealer network environment.
Class 2 and/or Class 4 Heavy Trade (HT) Driver Licences.
