Site Manager (NZDF) - Whenuapai
Citycare Property will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force Facilities Management Services to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa.
Join us in the role of Site Manager, Whenuapai Air Base to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.
RNZAF Base Auckland RNZAF Base Auckland is located in Whenuapai, northwest of Auckland, and is the northernmost operational Air Force base, positioned on the upper western reaches of the Waitemata Harbour.

What You’ll Be Doing | Nga Kawenga Takohanga
- Leading and motivating your team, ensuring contract services and obligations are met and align with business strategy and values.
- Leading the effective delivery of all facilities management services and contractual obligations and deliverables at the Whenuapai Site.
- Positively managing relationships with all NZDF stakeholders, suppliers and partners.
- Championing a strong health, safety and environmentally aware culture across the sites ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Preparing and actively managing the budget for the contracted services ensuring financial performance meets expectations.
What We’re Looking For| A Matou e Rapu Ana:
- Extensive experience as an Operations, Delivery or Contract Manager in a complex of high-security environment coupled with proven capability in managing contract deliverables.
- Extensive experience leading teams, driving operational excellence and positively managing a culture of safety.
- Strong capability in financial management, budgeting and cost control practices.
- Strong capability in proactively managing positive stakeholder relationships.
- A degree in business administration, operations, engineering or a similar field.
- Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values.
- The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
- Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements
