The Role:
We're on the hunt for a driven Business Development Manager to represent our parts business Including lubricants, filtration, batteries, tires, consumables and genuine parts in the Waikato & Bay of Plenty regions. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, promoting and selling across the full AB Equipment aftersales and genuine parts range.
You will represent a portfolio of world-leading brands, including:
Genuine Brands:
Develon, Sumitomo, Toyota Materials Handling, Manitou, Sakai, Vermeer, Bucher, FPT and more.
Aftermarket Brands:
Fuchs Lubricants, Fleetguard Filtration, Continental, Nokian, Exide and more.
We're looking for a goal-focused, team-oriented local who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering results. Ideally you will be based in either Hamilton or Tauranga. Travel across your territory will be required along with regular visits to the AB Equipment branches in your region.
What you'll bring:
- Experience selling into the civil construction, forestry, agriculture, transport & commercial sectors
- Knowledge of lubricants and filtration would be an advantage.
- Confidence in prospecting, cold calling, and generating new business opportunities.
- Proven ability to win new business while successfully managing existing customer relationships.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and solid computer and administrative skills
- Commitment to driving a high-performance safety culture
