Thanks to a significant new client win in the financial services sector, we're looking for a Group Business Director to lead a well-resourced, high-performing team in Auckland. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with immediate impact and scale.
The role
This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving strategic excellence across a portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on delivering integrated media solutions end-to-end.
You'll own the client relationship at the highest level, lead the thinking, and bring together specialist teams to execute best-in-class work.
You will:
- Lead strategic media direction across a major financial services client
- Take ownership of a group of client accounts and senior stakeholder relationships
- Shape full ecosystem planning across paid, owned and data-led channels
- Act as the "taskforce leader", bringing together internal specialists to deliver integrated campaigns
- Elevate conversations beyond media into broader business outcomes
- Drive excellence in campaign delivery, performance tracking and optimisation
- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing team
What you bring
You're already operating at a senior level and know how to balance strategic thinking with delivery.
- Strong understanding of the NZ media landscape and full-channel planning
- Proven ability to lead senior client relationships and influence at C-suite level
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Commercial acumen across campaign performance and client financials
- A collaborative, team-led mindset with the ability to bring people with you
