Job Duties - As a cleaner with our company, your responsibilities will include:
• Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, staff rooms, and common areas to a high standard.
• Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste properly.
• Restocking consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other hygiene supplies.
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and doors where required.
• Spot cleaning walls, skirting boards, and other surfaces to maintain presentation standards.
• Operating cleaning equipment and ensuring its proper maintenance.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
• Following established cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Handling cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Ensuring all assigned areas are kept neat, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Locking up or securing premises where required after cleaning duties are completed.
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team to complete all assigned tasks on time.
Job Information:
• Location: Lower Hutt or any other location in Wellington region
• Hours: 30 hours per week or upto maximum of 45 hours (Midnight shift – 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, including weekends)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Position
• Number of positions: 3x
• Hourly Wage: $24 to $ 25 per hour based on the negotiations
Requirements:
• Previous six months commercial cleaning experience is required or hold high school qualification of NZQA Level 2.
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence.
• The working hours are at night from midnight shift 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM.
• Willing to work on the weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
• Good time management skills.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks.
• Reliable and punctual.
