People Operations Coordinator
We're looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our global People team on a Fixed-Term basis until March 2027.
Reporting to the People Operations Lead, you'll be the person who connects the dots across our People function. You'll help update processes, templates and policies, improve how we capture and use data, and support building automation workflows, including using AI. At the same time, you'll coordinate the employee lifecycle end to end, maintaining data integrity and keeping day to day HR admin running smoothly.
We're on a mission, and with a lot of projects happening across our People space, this is more than just a coordination role. While you'll play a key part in keeping everything on track, we're also looking for someone who's process-driven, curious, and comfortable working with systems and technology. You'll bring fresh ideas, look for smarter ways of doing things, and support us in building a more future-ready People function.You'll bring a natural strength in systems, data accuracy, and process flow, and take pride in making things work better.
What you'll be doing
As the fixed term People Operations Coordinator, you will:
- Manage and update HR templates, policies, and process documentation
- Support improvements to HR processes by helping identify gaps and assist streamline workflows
- Assist in maintaining process maps and support automation workflows (including AI-supported processes where applicable
- Provide data support for the implementation of the HRIS
- Coordinate and track employee data changes (joiners, leavers, role changes, salary updates, reporting lines, etc.)
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to the People team
- Maintain and update employee records to ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR systems
- Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
- Prepare and issue employment documentation (contracts, variations, letters, confirmations)
- Assist with onboarding coordination, including systems access, documentation, and communications
How we work
We genuinely embrace flexible working. You'll have the option to split your time between home and our Paengaroa office.
Our team typically comes together onsite a few times a week for collaboration, connection, and key events-so being able to commute locally is important.
What you'll bring
- A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a coordination or HR support role and highly detail-oriented
- Confidence working with systems, data, and processes (HRIS experience is a bonus)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to keep things on track
- A curious, open mindset and willingness to learn
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with NZ employment legislation is helpful; global exposure is a bonus
