The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Site Manager with proven site management and supervision in trade teams in New Zealand who has experience with a main contractor on large projects in New Zealand.

As a Site Manager you will be experienced in overseeing the construction phase of projects from commencement to completion and have the appropriate skills for developing and motivating others. You will also implement our Health and Safety culture and be committed to achieve a zero-harm work environment.

We deliver high-quality finishing and fit-out services tailored to the demands of commercial environments. From office spaces and retail fit-outs to hospitality and multi-unit developments, our team ensures every detail is executed with precision, efficiency, and professionalism. We understand the importance of timelines, budgets, and brand consistency - and we deliver on all fronts.

It would be expected that you take ownership of outcomes for assigned projects, ensuring that the projects are delivered safely and successfully by developing a team oriented and collaborative work environment.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a site manager leading all site functions on commercial projects

  • A proven track record of delivering complex and challenging projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the quality and safety standards

  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse and high-performing team

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with various stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools and applications

  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to different sites as required
