# Logistic Coordinator at NZ Defence Force, Manawatu-Whanganui## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleMō te tūnga | About the roleWe're looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of medical inventory, procurement, and distribution activities at Ohakea. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in ensuring essential medical equipment and supplies are available to support operational readiness and emergency response.This is a sole-charge position where you'll manage the end-to-end logistics of medical stores and equipment. From forecasting and purchasing to inventory control and compliance, your work will directly support NZDF health operations.Key responsibilities include: Manage inventory levels, forecasting and provisioning (SAP) Raise and manage purchase orders and supplier relationships Maintain accurate stock records and complete regular stocktakes Oversee warehousing operations, including temperature-controlled storage Coordinate servicing and maintenance of medical equipment Support the distribution and management of first aid and medical kitsPlease Note: The formal title for this role within NZDF is Logistic Coordinator Central OHKNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and ExperienceThis role will suit someone who enjoys owning their work, has a sharp eye for detail, and is confident navigating systems and processes in a regulated environment.
