We're now looking for an experienced leader to take charge of our Invercargill cars branch and drive performance, growth, and exceptional customer services.

\nWho would suit this role?\n

We're after a people-first, results-driven leader with proven experience managing a sales and/or operational team. You'll be confident leading from the front – coaching, motivating, and developing your people to deliver strong results. You'll bring a proven track record in sales and business performance, along with the ability to build strong relationships, grow networks, and identify new business opportunities.

Automotive experience is great but what really matters is your energy, drive, leadership capability, and customer focus.

\nWhat does the role entail?\n

  • Lead, develop, and manage the branch to achieve revenue, profit, and customer targets
  • \n
  • Actively coach, mentor, and support your team, ensuring individual and team success
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • \n
  • Drive new business growth through networking and market opportunities
  • \n
  • Maintain and champion a customer-first, service-oriented culture
  • \n
  • Manage branch financial performance, including budgets and cost efficiencies
  • \n
\nWhat do we need from you?\n
    \n
  • Proven leadership experience in a sales-driven or operational environment
  • \n
  • Strong sales background, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
  • \n
  • Ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams
  • \n
  • Strong networking, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • \n
  • Commercial acumen, including cost management and business growth
  • \n
  • A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability
  • \n
  • A full, clean Driver’s Licence
  • \n
  • Previous experience managing a team and business unit is highly desirable
  • \n
