\nAbout the Role\n

A couple of opportunities have come up to join our dedicatedRadiology team on a permanent,full-time basis. Our radiology service is committed to providinghigh-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care across the region. Youwill work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly,patient-centred environment. There are opportunities for training, skilldevelopment, and career advancement.

The working hours are 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE). Shiftsare on a 24/7 rotating roster Monday - Sunday, with no one working alone at onetime.

There is no on-call for this position.

\nAbout the Team/Service/ Location\n

Nelson Hospital Radiology is a leading diagnostic providerwith two brand-new Siemens dual energy CT scanners and a team of experiencedprofessionals. Our department offers a comprehensive range of imaging services,including General Radiography, CT scanning, MRI, Interventional/Cardiac CathLab and ultrasound, dedicating a gold standard service to a diverse patientpopulation. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality diagnostic imagingservice to improve patient outcomes.

\nAbout you\n

As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will have or be:

    \n
  • NZ registered with the NZMRTBoard, and hold a current APC in dual scope of Medical ImagingTechnologist and Magnetic Resonance Technologist
  • \n
  • Workalongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centredenvironment.
  • \n
  • Performhigh quality diagnostic imaging examinations with accuracy and attentionto patient safety.
  • \n
  • Collaboratewith other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imagingthat supports patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • \n
  • Providecompassionate care to patients, ensuring comfort and understandingthroughout their imaging experience.
  • \n
  • Be a friendlyteam player with great sense of humor,
  • \n
  • Have sound knowledge ofdiagnostic radiography,
  • \n

Thesuccessful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZwork visa at the time of applying.
