\nABOUT THE ROLE\n

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-impact engineering solutions while helping shape best‑practice systems and lifting capability across the team.

\n

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where precision matters, ideas are valued, and your work contributes directly to pioneering solutions in clean energy.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Lead the design and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture
  • \n
  • Perform engineering calculations and ensure designs meet relevant standards and codes
  • \n
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks)
  • \n
  • Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting on complex engineering challenges
  • \n
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to build team capability
  • \n
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver project outcomes
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, systems, and ways of working
  • \n
\nKey Skills & Experience\n
    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or higher)
  • \n
  • 8+ years’ relevant engineering experience, with hands‑on exposure to manufacturing environments
  • \n
  • Strong proficiency in CAD (preferably SolidWorks), including 3D modelling, assemblies, and drawings
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • \n
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver practical, well‑considered solutions
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • \n
\nNice to Have\n
    \n
  • Experience in process industries (e.g. oil & gas, dairy, energy)
  • \n
  • Familiarity with pressure systems or cryogenic applications
  • \n
  • Knowledge of international standards (e.g. ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, AS1210)
  • \n
  • Working towards or holding CPEng status
  • \n
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments
  • \n
