Cardiologist Needed in New Zealand

• Outpatient only care
• Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm, no call
• Assessments and management plans for a range of cardiac conditions
• Echo reading sessions, contribute to the diagnostic and treatment processes for patients
• Coastal North Island location
• Need a cardiologist with skills in non-invasive cardiac imaging to provide support

This North Island hospital is seeking a non‑invasive adult cardiologist with skills in non‑invasive cardiac imaging to provide support for our echocardiogram services and clinical oversight of echocardiogram reports to meet New Zealand guidelines. Whilst not essential, experience in CT coronary angiography (CTCA) and Cardiac MRI is desirable. Expertise in clinical trials is desirable. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

• Outpatient clinics
• Ward consultation
• Reporting investigations
• Providing support for clinical colleagues, cardiac physiologists, cardiac technicians, and echocardiography triaging
• Protocoling imaging requests

• Cardiologist with non‑invasive cardiac imaging skills
• Experience in assessing and managing cardiac conditions
• Ability to support echocardiogram services and oversee reporting
• Knowledge of CT coronary angiography and Cardiac MRI desirable
• Experience or interest in clinical trials desirable
