Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for driving strategic growth and financial performance of the country. Acts as the company ambassador for external stakeholders and shapes the culture and engagement of people in their country. Collaborates with regional and functional teams to ensure operational and service excellence.

What success looks like (first 12 months)

  • Local P&L metrics achieved: revenue, EBIT, DSO/Cash flow.
  • Go‑to‑market strategy implemented with aligned sales and partner execution.
  • Clear country budget, forecast, and operating cadence in place.
  • Compliance and legal requirements fully met.
  • High engagement levels with strong team culture.
  • Recognized as trusted leader with customers, partners, and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities

  • Commercial Delivery & P&L Accountability
    • Full ownership of country-level P&L, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and cash performance.
    • Drive quarterly performance through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Optimize pricing, rebates, and partner incentives in line with group guidance.
  • Sales & Channel Execution
    • Define and implement the country strategy to achieve business growth, market penetration, and competitive positioning.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with top partners and vendors, ensuring joint GTM success.
    • Manage channel performance metrics and adapt strategy to market trends.
    • Support sales enablement, talent development, and performance management.
  • People Leadership & Culture
    • Lead and inspire the country team; build a culture of trust, excellence, and ownership.
    • Attract, retain, and develop top talent with a focus on leadership pipeline readiness.
    • Promote diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing in the local context.
    • Drive accountability and engagement through transparent performance management.
  • Customer & Market Influence
    • Develop deep market understanding and customer insight to inform strategy.
    • Represent business with clients, media and at industry forums.
    • Build the company’s reputation and employer brand in‑market.
  • Internal Collaboration & Alignment
    • Actively participate in regional forums, sharing insights and aligning with broader business goals.
    • Collaborate with regional and global teams to shape services, marketing, and operational effectiveness within a matrixed environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 8–10+ years of commercial leadership in‑country with P&L accountability.
  • Experience growing a market in IT, cybersecurity, or distribution sectors.
  • Strong understanding of customer dynamics, partner ecosystems, and local regulation.
  • Strong communicator with proven leadership in matrixed environments.
