The Radiology Services in Waitaha, Canterbury provide patient‑centred care across multiple sites. We are a hardworking team who use professional knowledge and skills to ensure the provision of quality patient‑centred radiographic imaging services. Our busy tertiary hospital setting will offer you the challenge of performing a wider range of procedures involving acute, planned, inpatient, and outpatient workloads. You'll coordinate workloads and liaise with clinical and support staff.
Responsibilities- Managing daily, weekly workload across multiple CT scanning platforms
- Meeting patient needs within agreed triaged referral timeframes
- Assisting the Senior CT staff with the daily workflow in CT
You will work in a fast‑paced environment with a caring team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and flexible person who is up for the challenge within our dynamic CT team in the Radiology services. You will be required to participate in a 24/7 rostered service including on call.
Qualifications and Skills- Being a team player with excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- The ability to use initiative and assist workflow within the CT team
- Previous experience in CT is essential
- NZ Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board is essential
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
