Machine Learning Development Engineering Intern

Business Unit LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS is a leading global game developer that advances the art and science of game development through compelling stories, engaging gameplay, and advanced technology. The Lightspeed Tech Center, an R&D department within LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS, develops PUBG Mobile and other high‑quality games, leading research and innovation across engine, audio, QA, AI and other technical services for all games throughout their life cycle.

Participate in the design and coding of a robust AI platform for training and online services, and contribute to integrating AI capabilities into the gaming business through ML‑Ops processes.

• Design, develop, and maintain AI systems that support training and online service components.
• Integrate AI capabilities into game products using ML‑Ops workflows and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engine, audio, QA, and AI specialists, to ensure seamless integration and high performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code in at least one commonly used programming language.
• Participate in code reviews, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of AI services.

• Major in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in at least one commonly used programming language.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for programming, strong learning agility, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Interest in the gaming industry and familiarity with game development concepts.
• Experience developing small‑scale game demos or similar projects.
