About the role\n

We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to drive the growth of our Plates processing business, lead by example, and provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to the sales team.

This is a hands-on, target-driven B2B sales role with a leadership edge — where success is measured by your ability to win new business, grow revenue, build long-term client partnerships, and lift the performance of those around you.

\nResponsibilities\n
    \n
  • Sales & business development: Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region.
  • \n
  • Sales & business development: Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio.
  • \n
  • Sales & business development: Prepare accurate quotes and costings.
  • \n
  • Sales & business development: Deliver sales presentations and product solutions.
  • \n
  • Sales & business development: Monitor market trends, pipeline, and upcoming projects.
  • \n
  • Sales & business development: Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently hit targets.
  • \n
\nTeam leadership\n
    \n
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team.
  • \n
  • Help set team priorities and sales focus areas.
  • \n
  • Support onboarding and development of junior team members.
  • \n
  • Act as a point of escalation for key accounts and complex deals.
  • \n
  • Work closely with management to ensure team targets are met.
  • \n
\nQualifications\n
    \n
  • 5+ years B2B / external sales experience.
  • \n
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • \n
  • Strong new business development ("hunter") capability.
  • \n
  • Experience with quoting, pricing, and margin management.
  • \n
  • Solid numerical and commercial acumen.
  • \n
  • Confident negotiation and closing ability.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline + forecasting.
  • \n
  • Intermediate CRM / Excel / quoting systems.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or lead a small team.
  • \n
\nNice to have\n
    \n
  • Steel, manufacturing, or construction industry experience.
  • \n
  • Technical or solution-based sales background.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of plates or industrial products.
  • \n
  • Formal leadership or team lead experience.
  • \n
