Site Manager
Job Description
With a strong forward workload, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of developments while being supported by a highly capable project delivery team.
\nWorking closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders, you will take responsibility for coordinating all on-site activities, driving programme outcomes, managing direct labour and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
\nThis position would suit a hands-on leader who enjoys taking ownership of site operations and has a proven ability to motivate teams.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n- \n
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day site operations \n
- Manage and supervise direct labour teams and subcontractors \n
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with programme requirements \n
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality \n
- Work closely with Project Managers to achieve project objectives \n
- Coordinate site logistics, resources, and construction sequencing \n
- Foster a positive and productive site culture \n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- A minimum of 5 years' Site Management experience with a New Zealand main contractor \n
- Demonstrated success delivering industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects \n
- Experience managing direct labour crews and large subcontractor teamsA carpentry trade or site engineer background \n
- Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills \n
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery \n
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality outcomes \n
- Experience using Procore or similar construction management software would be advantageous \n
