Head of Product Resolution & Traceability

As the Head of Product Resolution & Traceability, you will play a key role in leading customer-facing quality activities across Yili Oceania. You’ll be responsible for ensuring products are released accurately and on time, customer enquiries and complaints are managed effectively, and traceability and product data are robust, compliant, and audit-ready. This role is critical to delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for customers while supporting operational teams with reliable information and insight.

Reporting directly to the GM Quality, you will lead a team across product release, complaints, and market access, working closely alongside Operations, Labs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Digital, and Commercial teams. You’ll drive continuous improvement across systems and processes, using data and insight to enhance service, strengthen compliance, and support world‑class quality performance. This role can be based at Hokitika, Rolleston, or Glenavy.

You are a collaborative and commercially minded quality leader with several years’ experience working in FMCG, dairy, or a related manufacturing environment. You bring proven experience leading teams and driving improvements across quality systems, customer experience, or operational processes. You’re confident working across multiple stakeholders, with the ability to influence outcomes and translate complex quality requirements into practical solutions.

You’re known for your strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving approach, with a focus on identifying root causes and delivering sustainable improvements. You enjoy working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and bring a high level of attention to detail, along with a genuine commitment to quality, customer outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Westland Milk Products is a well‑known New Zealand end‑to‑end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island, with offices and production facilities in both Christchurch and Hokitika.
