Takanini and Papakura are 2 of the fastest growing community areas in Auckland. We are seeking General Practitioners for these modern and well-equipped Urgent Care clinics – one is located centrally in Papakura and one in their purpose-built health centre in Takanini.

• Partly a VLCA (Very Low-Cost Access) provider
\n
• Patients and staff are representative of the area
\n
• Provide ongoing training to keep up to date with regulations and have weekly full team meetings.
\n
• Urgent Care Clinic has rostered shifts across 7 days, covering 8.00am through to 9.00pm.
\n
• Use the latest version of cloud-based Medtech Evolution Patient Management System
\n
• Foundation‑accredited.
\n

• Registered with MCNZ
\n
• Current APC
\n
• Primary care experience essential; exposure to urgent care advantageous
\n
• Confident managing diverse, high‑needs populations
\n
• Strong clinical judgement with a collaborative and empathetic approach
\n
• Commitment to equitable and culturally responsive healthcare delivery
\n

• Hourly rate in line with experience
\n
• A choice of employee or contractor arrangement.
\n
• Enhanced remuneration for weekend shifts\n
• Regular, formal in‑house CME sessions.
