The role will at times involve direct project delivery, ensuring the smooth running of the day to day activities and programme across projects such as:* Bridges and complex structural work* Wastewater treatment plants, **Pump stations and complex pipelines*** Heavy Civil, reinforced concrete projectsFulton Hogan’s Civil Structures team build some of the most interesting Civil projects - Our projects are technically challenging and incredibly rewarding. There is a lot of opportunity for the right person!**In addition to the above you will:*** Manage the teams and sub-contractors within your area and coordinate with other teams to ensure optimisation of resources and efficiency Plan the execution of the works and develop construction methodology for all elements of the works Provide a monthly forecast of cost to complete to the commercial manager, and an estimate of the work completed in terms of percentages complete to the planner Provide technical advice and resolve on-site issues as they arise Maintain a safe and tidy site, assisting in the development of management systems and ensuring compliance within your team Monitor expenses, process invoices, and contribute to financial reporting. Around 5+ years’ experience in structures or heavy civil construction. Proven experience across projects such as bridges, treatment plants, pipelines or similar complex infrastructure ($10M+) Strong capability in programming, budget management and cost control.
