Based in theheart of Whanganui, this role will see you working closely with the OwnerOperator to deliver a shopping experience that’s second to none. You’ll lead apassionate, tight-knit team, helping to mentor and develop them while ensuringthe store runs smoothly day to day.

This is ahands-on leadership role where you’ll truly make your mark – balancing peopleleadership, commercial performance, and community connection.

• Plan, lead, communicate,organize, and control the day-to-day running of the store
\n
• Coach, mentor, and develop theteam, including building capability in Duty Managers
\n
• Deliver outstanding customerservice and lead from the front on the shop floor
\n
• Ensure all departments are wellstocked, merchandised, and presented to a high standard
\n
• Create a consistently fresh,easy, and enjoyable shopping experience
\n
• Support the delivery of strongfinancial performance including sales, wastage, and budgets
\n
• Build strong connections withinthe local community
\n

• Previous leadership experience(Store Manager or Senior Department Manager level)
\n
• Proven ability to lead, coach,and develop teams
\n
• A hands-on, can-do attitude witha passion for customer service

• Strong organizational andcommercial skills
\n
• Ability to work across multipledepartments
\n
• LCQ/ Managers certificatepreferred
\n
