You’ll be trusted to shape the way the department runs, back your team, and keep work moving forward.**Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities*** Effectively manage client relationships to ensure continued success Be responsible for preparation of estimates and tendering Oversee daily operational activities including resourcing, programming of works, contractual operations and obligations Manage financial performance, reporting, ensuring optimisation of financial outcomes Evaluate performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement* Manage the training and development of staff while fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment**Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with*** Proven experience managing business units, ensuring high-quality outcomes and efficient use of resources. Demonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on people, safety and quality. A strong focus on safety and compliance. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and job costing. The ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a variety of different stakeholders.
