General Practitioner [Fixed Term]
Job Description
We are looking for GPs to provide short term interim cover onsite in our clinic while we recruit permanent GPs.
\nIdeally you would be able to work 32 hours (0.8 FTE) a week for the next 3 months June to August.
\nAbout us:\nTe Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is one of NZ's largest kaupapa Māori health and social services organisations. We are community-focused and for over 40 years we have been supporting our whānau me hapori to achieve their aspirations and general wellbeing.
\nOur Primary care Medical Practice, Hauora Heretaunga, is a Bronze Cornerstone Accredited Teaching practice that aims to deliver quality, evidence-based primary care services to our population of almost 6000 patients using the Health Care Homes framework. We are a high-needs clinic, committed to improving equity in our Māori and Pacifica populations. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to delivering holistic care with an integrated team approach to wrap around care.
\nOur practice is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.
