Senior Civil Engineer, Energy & Industrial

Our Energy and Industrial team partners with clients across manufacturing, fuel, industrial infrastructure and the energy transition, helping shape the infrastructure that keeps communities and industries moving. Based in Christchurch, you'll join a collaborative team delivering projects across New Zealand and beyond, working on everything from fuel terminals and manufacturing facilities through to emerging renewable energy and industrial developments.

• Lead the delivery of civil design packages across Energy and Industrial projects, including industrial infrastructure, fuel terminals and manufacturing facilities.
• Design and review earthworks, stormwater systems, underground services, pavements, and site development works.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports using Civil 3D and CAD.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders while supporting successful project outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers and contribute to a strong team culture.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across New Zealand and our global business to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

• 8+ years of experience delivering civil engineering projects within the industrial, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong experience in civil design, project delivery, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Professional Engineer status, or working towards chartership.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, CAD and related design tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and commercial awareness.
• A proactive leadership style and a passion for developing people and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
