Take pride in delivering ‘on-point' advice in rapidly evolving situations within Toitū Te Whenua and others, especially with our Ministers and their team.**He pūkenga tou - Skills and Experience****You will:*** Have a sound understanding of the machinery of government and government processes, the Official Information Act, and a knowledge of Parliamentary processes. Be able to engage closely with experts across the organisation, taking pride in delivering ‘on-point' advice and ‘doing good' for Aotearoa in rapidly evolving situations. Have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the confidence to mentor and provide guidance and support to individuals and/or groups of people. Be a proven self-starter, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and the drive to proactively initiate activities/projects in response to identified risks, issues or problems, and escalating as appropriate. Be open to new ways of doing things, improving and modernising processes and using technology and AI to support automation and enhanced service delivery. Be able to quickly establish excellent working relationships with a wide variety of people.
