Data and AI Engineer

This role is a critical enabler as AMP looks to leverage technology to make its business more engaging and efficient. The Data Engineer is responsible for architecting and building our data infrastructure enabling quality reporting and data for downstream systems ensuring our customers see up to date information and their experience is coherent. This role is also responsible for the development of certain AI initiatives.

• Participate fully in our Agile Teams to design, configure and build innovative software solutions that improve the data and AI experience for AMP.
\n
• Work in all parts of the software development lifecycle with a particular focus on Data, AI and APIs.
\n
• Write original code, update existing code and ensure that all code meets product requirements.
\n
• Ensure that our code is tested appropriately.
\n
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
\n
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the wider Technology team, our Product teams, project manages and others to achieve elegant solutions.

• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
\n
• Work alongside other engineers and analysts on the team to consistently improve technology and the client experience.

• Is a competent user of AWS or other cloud data services.
\n
• Is skilled in APIs and their security patterns.
\n
• Understands the modern methodologies and Software Development lifecycles.
\n
