# Senior Technical Advisor Turret at NZ Defence Force, Wellington - Wairarapa## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleMō te tūnga | About the roleIn this role, you will provide senior technical and safety assurance advice for the NZDF's LAV Turret fleet, supporting effective through‐life management. You will lead technical decision‐making across fleet management, maintenance, configuration changes and the introduction of new capability into service. Analyse fleet data and provide technical reports. Develop fleet policies, processes, and procedures. Build effective stakeholder and vendor relationships. Oversee maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.We are a great bunch of people who manage equipment that is critical to New Zealand's defence. Military electronics experience and familiarity with LAV and turret systems are highly desirable. Ability to analyse and present technical data. Experience in maintenance and quality management. Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
