Tend is now on the Shore and we’re looking for a Clinical Lead with a background in urgent care and/or general practice to help shape and support high‑quality, connected care for our community on the North Shore.

\n

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in leading teams, strengthening clinical quality, and supporting the delivery of both urgent care and GP services in a collaborative, modern care environment.

\n

Alongside clinical work, you’ll provide leadership and guidance to the team, help drive excellence in patient care, and contribute to a positive, high‑performing clinic culture. You’ll also be supported by inbox support and our world‑class note‑taking tool, Scribe, helping create a better experience for both patients and clinicians.

\nWhat’s on offer:\n
    \n
  • Clinical Lead role with the opportunity to combine leadership and clinical practice
  • \n
  • Flexible roster options, including weekday and/or weekend sessions
  • \n
  • 24 – 32 hours per week (6 – 8 sessions) available, with flexibility depending on the right candidate
  • \n
  • The chance to lead across a model that includes both urgent care and general practice
  • \n
  • Work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team in a supportive and collaborative environment
  • \n
\nWhat we’re looking for:\n
    \n
  • An experienced senior doctor with a background in Urgent Care and/or General Practice
  • \n
  • GP or UC Fellowship (NZ or comparable international equivalent)
  • \n
  • Confidence managing a broad range of presentations across same‑day urgent care and ongoing GP care
  • \n
  • A passion for clinical leadership, mentoring, and supporting team development
  • \n
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care
  • \n
  • Strong collaboration skills and enthusiasm for working within a multidisciplinary team
  • \n
\nWhy you’ll love working with us:\n
    \n
  • A warm, collegial environment where your leadership and expertise are truly valued
  • \n
  • The opportunity to influence clinical culture, quality, and service delivery
  • \n
  • Predictable scheduling to support your work‑life balance
  • \n
  • A modern, well‑supported workplace designed to make care better for clinicians and patients
  • \n
  • Opportunities to grow and lead alongside a passionate, forward‑thinking team
  • \n
\n

If you’re ready for a role where you can make a difference through both clinical leadership and patient care, we’d love to hear from you.
