Branch Manager - Hamilton

A rare opportunity has arisen for a driven, motivated, goal-oriented individual to lead one of our rural branches and to drive a positive culture, sales execution, and best-in-class customer service.

The successful candidate will have the autonomy to drive their business and be supported with the tools to succeed. The key measures of success will be to profitably grow the business against allocated targets focused on vehicle sales, finance, and insurance performance.

• The ability to develop your people and reach sales targets through coaching and role modelling.
• Be hands‑on in delivering top service whilst managing the branch performance.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and ensure sales targets are achieved.
• Establish and maintain outstanding working relationships with all stakeholders and clients.
• Utilise effective sales techniques to promote finance and insurance products, ensuring monthly sales targets are consistently met and exceeded.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
• Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to stay ahead of the market.

• Used car dealership sales, Finance, and Insurance experience, and people management skills are a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a persuasive and customer‑centric approach.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work effectively and lead in a team‑based environment, supporting colleagues and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
• A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record are required.
• We are a 7‑day business, so the ability to work weekends and public holidays is advantageous.
• NZ citizen, residency, or a valid NZ work visa is required.
