Job Description
TBWA is looking for two Business Directors to support some of New Zealand’s best-loved brands.
\nThe role\nBoth roles provide the rare opportunity to work across a number of blue‑chip clients such as Southern Cross, The Warehouse and Tourism New Zealand.
\nYou’ll partner closely with TBWA’s executive leadership team, including CEO and CCO, to drive ambitious, future‑focused brand platforms. You’ll collaborate with senior client stakeholders to shape strategic direction and unlock new opportunities for growth.
\nWith long‑standing client relationships built on trust, this is an opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s top talent, both within TBWA and across the client network.
\nResponsibilities\nYou’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day direction of the accounts, strategically, creatively and financially. You’ll be familiar with the brands in‑and‑out, understand your client’s commercial realities and spot opportunities to grow the business. You’ll be well experienced in building strong long‑lasting relationships, alongside a supportive environment for your direct reports, creating a space where the best work flourishes.

- Work in partnership with strategy to develop and drive strategies for all client work. \n
- Demonstrate a passion for the best creative work, actively creating opportunities for it, championing and protecting it. \n
- Lead the day‑to‑day account team and navigate all parties to ensure quality work across channels. \n
- Nurture and build influential relationships internally, with clients, and with key stakeholders and is a welcome agency leader. \n
- Responsible for ensuring short‑term and long‑term account forecasts are monitored, budgets are committed and targets met. \n
You’ll have a minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a creative or advertising agency environment with a proven ability to build strong, lasting client relationships. As a trusted business partner, you provide clear direction, communicate with honesty, and ensure clients feel supported at every stage.
