Theteam prides itself on collaboration, mentorship, and providing expert careacross Nelson Marlborough region.
You will be joining a highly collegialenvironment where shared decision-making and professional development areencouraged.The Gastroenterology service at Nelson Hospital offers a comprehensivespectrum of care, including outpatient and inpatient consultations, endoscopicprocedures, and multidisciplinary care planning. The service is supported bydedicated nursing staff. Specialist accreditation in gastroenterology (NZ Gastroenterology Society-recognised) Hold or be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Trained in General Internal Medicine (preferred) Ability to work independently in a provincial hospital settingCollegiality and collaborationacross all disciplines are keys to provide successful services to our patientsand community.
