\nHei Oranga Iwi | The opportunity\n

Do you want to build your career within a highly successful and supportive environment? We are looking for Senior Consultants, with prior consulting experience relating to digital supply chain, end-to-end value chain, logistics or manufacturing excellence to join our team in Auckland. If you have an interest in being part of a team that helps deliver transformational and sustainable change for our clients, this may be the role for you.

\n

We value curious thinkers who have the courage to lead, great communicators who can effectively connect with diverse teams, flexible collaborators who build relationships based on doing the right thing, and innovative problem‑solvers who use their experience to ultimately find a better way.

\n

This role is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office and requires regular travel to client sites, where you’ll play a key role in delivering transformational change outcomes.

\n
    \n
  • Work with diverse teams across the business to win, design, plan, and deliver projects to help clients leverage digital capability to drive better business and solve some of their most challenging problems
  • \n
  • Connect with our local and global networks to work with, share knowledge, and draw on the skills of other EY subject matter specialists
  • \n
  • Develop relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels
  • \n
  • Be part of a team that not only helps leading NZ companies improve operational performance, streamline processes and manage change but also design the future of their business with a people‑centred approach
  • \n
\n

Your EY experience could span from innovating the future of agriculture for one of NZ’s leading exporters to improving product quality while transforming the manufacturing capability and performance of one of NZ’s most iconic companies to reduce waste, to designing the supply chain of a public organisation to deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders.

\nWish List\n
    \n
  • Delivering business‑led, tech‑enabled business transformations (e.g. Supply Chain solutions and technology platforms such as Analytics & Visualisations, Artificial Intelligence, Warehouse, Transport and Demand Management Systems, or Automation/Robotics)
  • \n
  • Strategic alignment and operating model reviews
  • \n
  • Business and process improvement projects including those that draw on Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen, consulting foundations and hands‑on cost analysis and business case preparation. AI literacy and curiosity, with confidence using AI tools responsibly and applying them to improve work, services and outcomes
  • \n
  • Ability to translate AI into practical business. Understanding of responsible AI considerations, including privacy, ethics, risk, trust, adoption and safe scaling
  • \n
\nYou’ll also have\n
    \n
  • Intrinsic, self‑motivation to excel in the pursuit of challenging goals
  • \n
  • A positive attitude, with a passion for creative problem‑solving and finding solutions
  • \n
  • A growth mind set, with a penchant for seeking out new experiences, knowledge, feedback and leadership opportunities
  • \n
  • Determination, and confidence navigating through periods of ambiguity and change
  • \n
  • A passion for a culture of collaboration and teaming
