Senior Pavements Engineer

Deliver pavement design solutions across roads, rail, ports, airports, and land development projects. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team shaping infrastructure across NewZealand and the Pacific.

• Be responsible for delivering the pavement component of projects on time and within budget
• Participate in road inspections and contribute to annual network maintenance renewal designs
• Collate pavement data, develop designs based on client needs, and produce comprehensive design reports
• Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and clients
• Collaboratively undertake conceptual to detailed design, and support contract procurement and construction administration
• Undertake site visits, monitor pavement construction, provide technical support, and complete pre‑seal inspections
• Consolidate and extend your technical skills while seeking learning opportunities
• Mentor and develop others, and foster client relationships that contribute to repeat business

• Sound knowledge of pavement investigation and materials testing techniques
• Experience using Austroads, roading specifications, and mechanistic design software (e.g. CIRCLY)
• An inquiring mind, lateral thinking, and a collaborative approach
• Enthusiasm and motivation to learn from peers and senior team members
