Consultant Radiologist - Women's Health

Work in one of New Zealand’s largest public hospitals in a permanent part‑time (0.15–0.3 FTE) role located at Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre. The role involves providing diagnostic reporting services in Women’s Health Ultrasound for Auckland DHB, working closely with the Women’s Health Fetal Medicine Team as well as obstetricians and gynaecologists.

• Issue diagnostic reports and sign off sonographer reports.
• Liaise with other services and provide opinion on other imaging modalities.
• Supervise sonographers and radiology registrars.
• Support on both morning and afternoon sessions depending on the day of the week.
• Assist with occasional hands‑on scanning when required.

• Qualified Radiologist with a genuine interest in Women’s Health or an Obstetrician/gynaecologist holding a Diploma in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU).
• Sound knowledge of ultrasound interpretation with experience in OB‑GYN and Women’s Health imaging.
• Eligible or able to apply for vocational registration and an Annual Practising Certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Experience supervising sonographers and radiology registrars.
