Nephrologist

Rewarding opportunity for an experienced Transplant Nephrologist or General Nephrologist to join TeTokaTumai in Auckland. Fixed term – 7months, full‑time position.

• Provide specialist nephrology services including kidney transplantation, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis for the central Auckland region.
• Perform approximately 130 kidney transplants per year, including blood‑group incompatible kidney transplants and serve as the national referral centre for combined pancreas‑and‑kidney transplantation.
• Manage and support an active home haemodialysis service for approximately 350 patients.
• Support the peritoneal dialysis unit caring for approximately 60 patients.

• Current or eligible for Vocational/Specialist registration with the Medical Council of NewZealand.
• Appropriate postgraduate qualifications, relevant training and experience required.
