The Opportunity

We are seeking a Site Engineer Civil & Structural to join our team in Wellington, Seaview, supporting the delivery of civil and structural works for a major thermal drying plant project.

In this site-based role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of works including foundations, concrete structures, underground services, drainage, pavements, and structural steel installations. You’ll work closely with project engineers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure all works are delivered in line with specifications, programme, and Zero Harm principles.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with strong site experience and a collaborative approach.

Key experience & skills include:

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
\n
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in civil/structural site engineering within construction or infrastructure projects
\n
• Earthworks, excavation, and concrete structures
\n
• Reinforcement, formwork, and concrete pours\n
• Ability to interpret civil, structural, reinforcement, and GA drawings
\n
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, QA processes, and HSE requirements
\n
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site-based issues
\n
• Industrial, water/wastewater, or process environments
\n
• Heavy foundations or equipment bases
\n
• Brownfield or live operational sites
\n
• Exposure to NZ standards and regulations
\n
