About the Role

Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora - Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District invites a dynamic Radiologist to join our multidisciplinary Radiology department. The role supports local Hutt Valley and Wairarapa communities, offering comprehensive radiology services including general reporting, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality radiology reporting and clinical services. Perform image acquisition and interpretation across modalities, support emergency departments, lead or participate in breast screening and symptomatic breast services, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for clinical care.

Qualifications
  • Vocationally registered in Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
  • Fellowship of the RANZCR or equivalent and ability to register for specialist registration with MCNZ.
  • Generalist skill set capable of delivering a wide range of medical imaging procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide consistently high standards of medical care.
  • Relevant experience and training.
