Solicitor | Back-end Construction

Led by highly recognised Partners, the team has a strong background in construction disputes and are internationally recognised for their work. They have exceptional clients who rely on the team for their exceptional work time and time again. This role will involve client contact early on, managing during-project and post-completion disputes, and working on complex matters such as:

• Defective construction and design
• Extension of time
• Consenting issues
• Negligence
• Fair Trading Act
• Contract and Commercial Law Act claims.

The ideal candidate will have a background in general litigation, although construction, property or infrastructure experience is beneficial. You'll also be someone who is driven to put their best foot forward and build excellent relationships with your colleagues and clients alike. Additionally, you'll have:

• 2+ years PQE
• A strong academic transcript.
• Great initiative and attention to detail.
• Experience in supporting highly complex files.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
