National Business Manager - Convenience and New Business\n

Auckland| Maternity Cover | (12-Month Contract)

\nThe Opportunity\n

Leada nationally significant growth channel across Petrol, Route, Vending,Convenience and New Business.

\n

This12-month maternity cover role is responsible for driving the 2027 channelstrategy, owning key customer relationships and delivering strong commercialoutcomes across sales, market share and in-store execution.

\n

You’lltake full ownership of the channel, leading a Key AccountExecutive and two field sales representatives, and partner with major customers anddistributors to maintain growth momentum through a clearlydefined contract period.

\n

It’s a great opportunity for someone who canstep into an established leadership role, keep the commercial engine moving,and continue improving the systems, rhythms and relationships that supportfuture growth.

\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n
    \n
  • Lead delivery of the Convenience & NewBusiness channel strategy
  • \n
  • Own performance across sales, margin, trade spendand forecasting
  • \n
  • Managekey relationships with major Petrol and Convenience customers, including strategic retail partners such as Z Energy and BP
  • \n
  • DeliverJointBusiness Plans, promotions and customer growth initiatives
  • \n
  • Use customer, category and marketinsights to support ranging, promotional and commercial decisions
  • \n
  • Build strong distributorpartnerships that support availability, execution and growth in market
  • \n
  • Build and manage a qualified NewBusiness pipeline across emerging channels, Route customers, Vending, gyms,sports clubs and distributor-led opportunities
  • \n
  • Lead and coach a Key AccountExecutive and two field sales representatives, keeping priorities clear andexecution focused
  • \n
\nWhat You’ll Bring\n
    \n
  • Proven FMCG sales and key account leadershipexperience( ideally 8+ years)
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen (P&L ownership,trade spend, forecasting)
  • \n
  • Experience managing major customers anddistributor networks
  • \n
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-ondelivery
  • \n
  • Strong people leadership and stakeholdermanagement skills
  • \n
  • Confidence working with data andinsights tools such as Circana
  • \n
  • Experience in Convenience, Petrol& Route channels would be advantageous
  • \n
  • A proactive, practical style —comfortable stepping into an established role while continuing to improvesystems, rhythms and ways of working
  • \n
\nHighly regarded\n
    \n
  • Experience within Convenience, Petrol, Route or Vending channels
  • \n
  • Experience using Circana, Nielsen, Aztec or similar market data platforms
  • \n
  • Experience within the health, nutrition or wider FMCG industry
  • \n
\n

Success in this role will come from maintainingcommercial momentum, strengthening customer and distributor relationships, andkeeping the team focused on the priorities that matter most during thematernity cover period.
