\nThe Opportunity\n

We’re looking for a high-impact National Business Manager to lead our New Zealand Grocery Field Sales team.

\n

This is a senior leadership role where you’ll be responsible for driving strategic and executional excellence across the grocery channel, delivering strong commercial outcomes while building strong relationships across retail partners.

\n

You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering our growth agenda, leading a team, and ensuring best-in‑class execution in market.

\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n
    \n
  • Lead, coach, and develop the NZ Grocery Field Sales team
  • \n
  • Deliver sales, profit, and budget targets across a large national portfolio
  • \n
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned to business growth goals
  • \n
  • Ensure strong execution across all revenue and profit levers
  • \n
  • Partner with internal teams (Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial) to drive performance
  • \n
  • Support and contribute to forecasting accuracy and alignment with demand planning
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery retailers, including at store level
  • \n
  • Manage trade and operational spend to deliver strong return on investment
  • \n
  • Represent the Grocery channel in internal leadership forums
  • \n
\nWhat You’ll Bring\n
    \n
  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, Category or Brand roles
  • \n
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering commercial results at scale\n
  • Strong understanding of retail category strategy and execution
  • \n
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and growth
  • \n
  • Experience within FMCG or grocery environments is highly regarded
  • \n
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or Finance (preferred)
  • \n
