\nAbout the role\n

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Geriatrician to join our Older People's Health and Rehabilitation Service, working alongside dedicated medical, nursing, and allied health teams to provide high-quality care for older people with complex health and rehabilitation needs.

\n

As a Senior Medical Officer, you will:

    \n
  • provide specialist inpatient and outpatient consultant services
  • \n
  • contribute to intermediate care and community-based settings
  • \n
  • mentor junior medical staff
  • \n
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • \n
  • provide cover for colleagues when required
  • \n
\n

There are no after-hours duties attached to this role.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is committed to patient‑centred care, service improvement, and building strong relationships with colleagues, consumers, and other healthcare providers.

You will enjoy working collaboratively across specialties to deliver responsive, high‑quality care.
