Consultant Psychiatrist

Join our Assertive Outreach Service caring for individuals with serious mental illness compounded by co‑morbidity.

• Develop therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Provide leadership and clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver assessment and treatment of psychosis and other serious mental disorders.
• Collaborate with psychiatric registrars, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, and community support workers.
• Participate in service development and continuous improvement.

• Experience in adult mental health.
• Strong commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Innovative, patient‑centred approach to care delivery.
• Eligibility for Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
