Job Description
Workday is seeking a highly passionate Technology Solution Consultant, aligned as a Senior Enterprise Architect, to join the Solution Consulting ("presales") team.
What You’ll Do- Articulate and differentiate the Workday Core Architecture (intelligent data core) to both technical and business buyer personas, showcasing Workday's foundational technology.
- Strategically lead high‑level discussions on Workday's AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Agent‑based architectures, positioning our solution as the future‑ready, intelligent cloud platform.
- Craft compelling presentations that showcase why Workday’s technology is fundamentally different and deliver impactful demonstrations that bridge complex technology with clear business outcomes.
- Dive deep into technical topics such as data security, reporting & analytics, integrations, and Workday Extend, illustrating how these components support intelligent automation and extensibility.
- Demonstrate the platform's value and differentiation for Workday Build, Workday Data Cloud (Apache Iceberg, Prism Analytics).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create technical as‑is and to‑be architecture designs using graphical discovery tools.
- Conduct discoveries, deep dives, and scripted demonstrations with little support; answer RFP questions independently.
- Attain advanced domain and industry knowledge; differentiate Workday product features and articulate customer use cases and value realizations.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to functional and technical audiences, engaging confidently with C‑level executives.
- Proactively cultivate relationships with sales teams and the broader Presales organization; demonstrate strong business operator skills (documentation, notes, knowledge sharing, Salesforce hygiene, event manager updates, etc.).
- 8+ years experience in enterprise software technical solution consulting ("Presales"), solution architecture, implementation consulting, or similar.
- Strong ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Experience leading discovery conversations and delivering impactful demos to C‑suite executives and technical evaluators.
- 8+ years experience working with cloud architectures, security, reporting, or integration standards.
- Experience or certifications in solution architecture on hyperscaler environments such as AWS or GCP (preferred).
- Exposure to AI agents and agent development tools such as LangGraph, Flowise, Dify, AutoGPT, Vertex AI.
- Familiarity with low‑code platforms and hands‑on experience designing and deploying applications or workflows to drive business efficiency (preferred).
- Understanding of IT landscapes and ability to evolve architectures from current to future state.
- Experience supporting Financial or HCM applications, customisations, reports, workflow, BI, integration, analytics or involvement in implementations/upgrades (added advantage).
- Beneficial qualifications: Agentic Operations, Low‑Code Application Development, knowledge of Workday architecture, AI/ML concepts/tools, web/app development experience, basic networking (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers), information security frameworks, web service integration (WSDL, SOAP, JSON), SFTP, UNIX, value selling paradigm.
Employees are required to spend at least 50% of their time each quarter in the office or field. Remote roles may create schedules that align with personal and business needs while ensuring collaboration and engagement.
